Way Down Deep is a truly inspiring book of faith.Bob's life has taken many twists and turns and he has suffered many losses. There were also many moments of uncertainty for him. However, through it all he says yes to God,remained faithful and is always thankful.Thank you for writing this book!
I read this book looking over the Deleware River on the first day of autunm 2016,
i have never felt the presence of god and his spirit as i read a stroy of a man of god willing to look to him something outside this sinfull world

A great read about a man finding and becoming his purpose! I highly recommend reading the journey.
A Must read. If you're not sure the Lord is calling you, read the long voyage that the Lord took Bob on to where he is today. As his brother, I didn't realize all the trails and tribulations he was going through. I am so proud of how he is serving the Lord today. Please read it twice, like I did, to witness the patience that he had in arriving at where he is today.
When you live with the author you know the TRUTH his life speaks. This book is really a condensed version of many experiences.
I liked to hear of the real care God gave this man. And the struggles he faced and grew through.

I met Bob and Jean in 2007 and was happy and surprised to hear from him a few weeks ago on March 8, 2017, when he mailed a copy to me of Way Down Deep. He included a note with it where he thanked me for giving him a copy of Henri Nouwin's book, "Our Greatest Gift" I quickly read it and I'm happy to share my review. Bob's testimony touched me and my wife, which is evidence of the power of the Holy Spirit, and Love of God our creator. I hope that there will be many others to read Way Down Deep, and will find it as another gift from their Lord through Bob's testimony.
"Way Down Deep" is a spiritual memoir of an ordinary guy who, through the confusions and suffering we all meet in their various forms on the human journey, discovered the Presence and Power of God. Bob Corrao's simply stated and honestly recorded story bears witness to the transforming power of Spirit in his life and is a heartfelt praise of God. The story is simple (in the best sense of the word), pure of heart, and sincere. Bob’s genuine gratitude and love of God are palpable to the reader and thus infectious.
The inner “yearning for light,” a phenomenon called by Corrao, “spiritual heliotropism,” divinely implanted in him (just as the heliotropic principle is inherent in plants), manifested as an “upward call”— an inner prompt to push up, up, up, through the darkness of worldly struggles in the direction of the Light of spiritual knowledge and realization of God’s Omnipresence and Omnipotence. “Way Down Deep” is a helpful testimony to folks who are questioning and needing just the encouraging and plainspoken words expressed in this little book. Thank you, Bob, for sharing your spiritual awakening, and "God Sightings," and for validating through your own experience God's Goodness and that Unconditional and Infinite Divine Love available to us all, whether everyone yet knows it or not, and which is ever urging us “heavenward.” This narrative certainly demonstrates “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46).
